A debut that set the tone.
2026 began in Italy with Lucas making his debut in the Rotax DD2 category. It was an immediate step into a new competitive challenge — and a weekend that delivered a strong first reference.
At the end of the event, Lucas finished in 12th place among 29 drivers. The season had started with proof that the next level was within reach.

Finishing 12th in a field of 29 drivers turned the Italian debut into more than a first appearance. It established a starting point for everything still to come in 2026.

First pole.
Fight to the final corner.
At Genk, racing in the Rotax E20 project, Lucas secured his first Eurotrophy pole position. The pace carried into the race, where the fight for a podium place remained alive until the very last corner.
